Tom Monto

I met Tom Monto early last year. A friend said, “You’re interested in proportional representation? Then you’d better meet my friend Tom.”

His Alhambra Books, just off Whyte Ave, is a perfect backdrop for a deep thinker. We sat down some months ago now, at his bookstore during off hours, to discuss in more depth what he pictures for Alberta if we were to choose our MLAs in a way where voters vote for who they want and get who they vote for.

Tom publishes his own blog as well as a great booklet on when Canada had proportional representation.
